ABOUT Pershore Riverside Youth Centre

Where is it?    Next to the Leisure Centre - Pershore - Worcestershire (on the river Avon)

What is it? Purpose built youth centre (1995) and recently renovated.

The Centre is owned by a non-profit making CHARITABLE TRUST (reg no 1042546). The youth clubs are run by Worcestershire County Council Youth Support, qualified Youth workers. The building is run jointly by Worcestershire County Council and the Riverside Centre Charitable Trust.

The building has a main hall, TV room, games rooms (including pool tables, wii's, internet cafe, techno/music room, offices, kitchen and toilets etc). Outside there is a basketball/football multi area (MUGA) and behind the centre is a large floodlight field (multi-activity area) stretching down to our own river-frontage and pontoon (kayak, Canoe etc). 

When? Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings are the County Youth Service run  13yrs+ club nights. Monday youth Group is fortnightly 6.30-8. Summer activity programmes run in the school summer holidays. There are also plenty of 1 off events, like have a go taster days - watch this site and local press for details.

The Rooms and facilities are also available to hire on a more commercial basis, to enable us to fund the young peoples programme (but still at the most competitive prices around). The whole building, or individual rooms can be hired. This is truely an amazing site, with parking, beautiful riverside setting and amazing facilities and 'toys' available.
